My mum married a Douse and I will be eternally grateful for that.  Living 200 miles away I wasnt always there for her, but the Douse family readily took her into the fold and made Her welcome.  David and Margaret were key in this process and my mum loved visiting them and staying in the “honeymoon suite”.  When my mum died, they did the same for me. 

David had that gentleness and love of family that I found in all the Douse men that I met, and they made me proud to be Welsh. Xxxx
